Admissions will be made to all classes (class I to VIII) on the basis of progress card / transfer certificate issued by the school last attended. If a candidate has not attended any school, admission to class I to IV will be made on the basis of an informal test in English and Maths.

Similarly for class V to VIII, admission will be subject to securing 35% in the entrance test as given below:

• English 45 mts 40 marks
• Hindi 30 mts 25 marks
• Maths 45 mts 50 marks
• Science 30 mts 30 marks

Admission will also be subject to age limits prescribed by National Institute of Open School. As per these rules, a candidate should have completed 14 years of age as on 1 July of the year prior to the one in which he / she will appear for class X Board exam.

Eg. A candidate should complete 14 years as on 1 July 2006, to be eligible to appear in Apr / May 2007 class X board exam.
