Faculty - Prof. Cromwell Crawford

Cromwell Crawford received a Ph. D. from the Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley, California in 1965. He is a professor and Department Chair for the Department of Religion at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Hawaii where he teaches courses in Christian Ethics, Comparative Ethics, Health Care Ethics in World Religions, World Religions, Religion and Medicine in World Religions, Religion and the Meaning of Existence and Understanding Indian Religions. His publications include: Hindu Bioethics for the Twenty-First Century, Hindu Medical Ethics and Dilemmas of Life and Death,Hindu Ethics in a North American Context. He is a recipient of the 1999 Indian Council of Philosophic Research National Lectures Award.
