Living Enlightenment

Living enlightenment is an exclusive long term course on spiritual and mystic sciences that is offered only at the extended campuses, under the spiritual guidance of the master. Mysticism is the exploration of the meaning of life - its mystery. It is the path in the inner space, seeking to unravel this mystery. Students who are interested in pursuing a spiritual life and attaining the ultimate self may apply for this course. Interested and qualified students are selected by the Master who then initiates the disciples into Living Enlightenment.

In the Vedic tradition, there were four stages of life. The first 25 years, a person lives a student life (brahmacharya). The next 25 years is as a married householder (grihastha). The third stage is vanaprastha (wandering life) and the last stage is Sannyas (life of freedom).

Even though there exists the above four stages of life one need not mechanically go through all the stages. Some people may be qualified to skip over the stage of householder if they have no vasanas or tendencies to go through marital experience. Others may lead a true life of a sannyasi without having to go through a ritual of taking ochre robes of a sannyasi. In other words, the four categories enumerated above are only meant to picturize the different stages of development of a normal human being and the necessary training that is needed at each stage to escalate him to the realization of the Self.

Depending on the age, mental constitution and/or marital status of the student the master initiates the disciple into the one of the four stages. Depending on the initiation, the master then provides spiritual guidance to the disciple, helping them in the final goal of attaining the ultimate self.
